forgot

well......i would normally be posting about my last day in atlanta. however, i took my backpack to work this morning and left it there. it had my notes. so look for the update tomorrow.

however, what is cool is that i got see my kids and wife again. unfortunately when i got home from work today, the wife was under the weather. bummer.

work was fairly easy today. got a lot of stuff done. i worked about an hour at home tonight after the wife and kids were in bed.

all of the stuff for the church is now in the temp space. little k is also setup thanks to monica and karra. we are pausing on carpet for a minute to make the correct decision. it seems the Astroturf would be just as expensive as cheap regular carpet. i stopped by there tonight on the way home and rejoiced under the new lights.

i am reading this book called "this beautiful mess" by rick mckinley. it is pretty good. chapter 9 was about practicing the presence of the kingdom in creation. why don't we worship more outside in Gods creation? he asks a very good question; how could be restore, redeem, and reclaim the sacred space in our community? i will probably start chapter 10 yet tonight. stay tuned for more insight on this topic.
