algae

cool. i am finishing my basement and i started my reef tank around the middle of feb and now, finally, after 3 months, i see my first spots of coraline algae. this is the preferred algae in the marine aquarium. you have all sorts of different types of micro and macro algae. some being bad and some being good. this is the really good stuff.

i have different corals and a couple of fish, of which i should be getting another one soon. probably a yellow or blue hippo tang.

i used to do a fowlr tank. that is fish only with live rock about 10 years ago. that was good to. we moved and i never go it set back up. if only i knew then what i knew now. that statement seems to apply in all sorts of life situations. thats for another post.
